Error Fix - 2nd Family App

Hi All,

We've heard from several of you over the last few weeks regarding issues with the 2nd Family app. Namely, you're not seeing any info in the app after selecting from the roles (client, staff, referral partner). This issue seems to be primarily affecting Apple users who have "Location Services" turned off by default. The app requires location services to be turned "on" in order function properly and provide location results based on geographic proximity.

If you, your clients, or your caregivers are experiencing issues with the app, please ensure that "Location Services" are turned to the "on" position in your phone settings.  Below are links showing how to do this on an Apple and an Android.



The web version of the app does NOT require location services, so if your caregiver or client can't or won't turn on Location Services, they should use the web version. This can be accessed on the website's homepage by clicking "Portal Login" in the top-right corner of the screen. It's the bright blue button.

Also, some of you have reported seeing the wrong banner image on the home screen. The correct image is of an elderly woman with her grandchildren. However, some of you are seeing a doctor and nurses in scrubs. If you're seeing that image, please send us a screenshot. We are actively working to find what is causing the stock image to display instead of our chosen image.
