We're excited to give you a first look at version 2.0 of the 2nd Family app. In this release, we're aiming to solve a few issues from the previous version:

1. Reduce the number of client/caregiver login requests from 2 down to 1

2. Provide an avenue for a caregiver who is employed by multiple locations to access both/all locations' forms and data within the app. Currently a caregiver is limited to a single location.

3. Same as above for family members who may be a client of multiple locations.

4. Improve location services functionality

5. Assist in SEO optimization of our website

To clarify point 1 above, the 2nd family app currently requires registration (a username and password) in order to determine the user's office affiliation. From there, it serves location-specific menu options). This login requirement is in addition to the credentials required to log into Axiscare to view care plan information, invoices, payment methods, etc.

In version 2.0, we've fundamentally adjusted how the app works in that it no longer filters menu items based on the user's registration profile. Instead, we now sort by function (client,caregiver,referral source) and then provide geo-targeted results appropriate to that selection. This will eliminate the need for users to log into the 2nd Family app itself; the only username and password needed will be to log into Axiscare.
