10DLC TCR Registration

10DLC TCR Registration

We notified you a few weeks ago about changes made to the SMS messenger in CRM. These changes were implemented to maintain compliance with US A2P 10DLC regulations. A2P 10DLC refers to a system in the United States that allows businesses to send Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers. These messages are now being tightly regulated, with requirements that businesses are registered and vetted in order to send SMS and MMS messages from digital platforms, including Ringcentral, AxisCare, and Zoho. We have taken care of much of the compliance legwork, but we will need your assistance on the following items.

Here are a 3 action items required on your part:

1. We have already added the necessary parameters to the Lead sms messages sent from within Zoho CRM. If you haven't read that announcement post, please do so now by clicking this link and begin implementing that process immediately. Today, we updated the client paperwork and the caregiver paperwork in your account to include an SMS opt-in statement. The client statement is found in the HIPAA section of the consent form where the two primary contacts are listed. The caregiver statement is found on the job offer page of the new caregiver paperwork.

2. I'm sure you've seen these alert messages in your Ringcentral accounts by now, but if not, please log into your Ringcentral account and click on Phone Systems > Enhanced Business SMS > 10DLC TCR Registration and follow the prompts. You will first need to register your brand (business), and then a campaign. Since we do not have access to your Ringcentral account, we are not able to do this from the support office. Ringcentral will not allow you to send SMS messages after March 31st without registerting with 10DLC TCR.

3. Your caregivers will need to grant you permission from within AxisCare in order for messages sent within AxisCare to be delivered. Please watch the video below for a quick explanation on how to get permission from each of your caregivers. We HIGHLY encourage you to incorporate this as part of your orientation session with new caregivers. Our suggested best practice is for you to walk through this process during orientation so that you have a green check mark for each caregiver before he/she leaves orientation.
